I do very much appreciate the feedback but I would like to mention a few things...
1. We explained to Paco when arriving that our luggage was lost at the airport. Because half the plane was in the same situation, it took an extremely long time for the airline to administer our claim. There was no contact at the time because of our international phones. Neither of us had roaming and there was no wi-fi at the airport. I did let Paco know that we would be arriving by plane, and personally, I believe that the hosts should take into consideration that flights may be delayed or there may be hold ups at the airport. All the above was explained to Paco upon arrival.
2. The lock was extremely difficult to figure it out. Paco did warn us that there may be some difficulties, but we did still have a lot of trouble with it. Maybe there was a language barrier in the explanation as our french is not very good. We did have to call Paco after 30 minutes of attempting to unlock the door. He was very kind to come help us. Unfortunately, we had no other choice but to call him.
3. I strongly believe that my friend and I are very friendly and considerate individuals. Perhaps there was a language barrier or we were very tired and frustrated (due to the lost luggage) from our trip.
