I am Cynthia and live in Miami
Nice hotel room. It's exactly like in the pictures. Good position to enjoy the white sand and the blue sea of Miami Beach.
Beware of the Studio at the Beach, 3621 Collins Avenue! Nothing against simply equipped accomodations. But this is a muggy, scruffy hole in a 70 years old dilapidated wreck of house flanked by another uninhabitated ruin. In addition it was uncleaned at our arrival (except the linens were fresh). And as you may cancel your reservation no later than a week before arriving, it‘s too late to withdraw when you remark the whole mess. Even if the price looks beneficial for the highly overprized Miami Beach Area, this studio is not worth the money. The only positive aspect is the beautiful beach 50 meters away and the famous Art Deco District in walking distance.

If you want a good location, close to the beach, take it. If you’re looking for personal attention and care from the owner, this flat is not for you. If you enjoy stained carpets, dirty floors, sub-standard conditions in the entire unit, take it. If you’d like a normal kitchen, with cups, plates, and basic utensils, this flat is not for you. If you want to rent a room in a hotel and not in a private home, take it. If you need easy Internet access, this flat is not for you. If you enjoy having drunk and rowdy guests of the hotel urinating in the front of your door, take it. If you wish to have a carefree time, while staying in Miami, this flat is not for you. If you’re interested of putting money in someone’s pocket who is giving little value in return, take it! If you’re a mature, 40+ traveler on a budget, still looking for quality accommodations, this flat is not for you.
Apartment with a wonderful location(localization).
Very big potential of the place.
But it is absolutely disgusting!!!
A big shame!!!
Hairs on the ground and in the bathroom.
Some mold in TOILETS.
There was dirt everywhere.
We were very disappointed.
No vacuum cleaner.
Windows did not close.

As other reviewers noted, this is a great location for the money you're paying. One note is that the water view is not of the beach or ocean, it's of the canal behind Collins Ave. This view is still pretty nice. We had some issues with check-in since the front desk did not have our names on file. I called Cynthia and she was available by phone to talk to the front desk. We did have to leave a $100 deposit with the front desk, but we got the deposit back within day of our departure.
The room has a microwave, hot plate (which we didn't use), towels, and a pull out bed with some cushions. It gets a little loud with the traffic down below, but we weren't bothered since we're both heavy sleepers. The bathroom was also very clean. The room has a 70's vibe to it - it's on the older side.
Of course, this is not a 4-star hotel, and we weren't expecting it to be. We wanted good value for the money, and that's what we got in terms of location and accessibility. If you're looking for a luxurious or comfortable hotel stay or if you have kids, this is not the place for you. As for me, I would stay here again.
The location is great, the price was great, and I really enjoyed my stay in Miami Beach, I hope to be back there soon
The appartment was dirty, we could not cook because there were no pans en pots The whole kitchen was horrible, behind the magnetron we found the food from other customers and the cockroaches where running around the place.
We had only one towel and the sheets of the bed were dirty and smelling. after we telephoned we got 2 towels extra. We had to clean the shower before we could use it, The only thing we liked was that it was one block away from the ocean, thats the reason we give this appartment 1 star
We would not recommend this appartment to someone else
It was a greattttt location. I stayed there for my first trip to Florida. Cynthia was very responsive to my inquires. The place was well kept.
