The room was more than adequate and a perfect location for my stay. Jenya was a fantastic host and made sure I had everything that I needed to be comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
Jenya's place it is located in a beautiful town, quite and very close to the subway station.
The room it is very confortable for one person, it has all the necessary, it is clean and the Kitchen as well.
She is very nice, and available to help.
Jenya is very nice and made me feel comfortable and welcome.
The room was clean and nice but very small.
The apartment also very small but I didn't need more then that..
Claiming up and down to the 5th floor was hard! especially with the luggages!!
The area is very safe and nice but it's far from the center and all attractions and night life.
Jenya is a great host. Everything was perfect!
The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. It is a five-story walk-up, but it wasn't that big of a deal if you don't mind carrying your luggage up a few flights of stairs.
Jenya was a wonderful host! She had to head out a little after I checked in, but she made me feel very welcome in the short amount of time that we met. She also maintained regular contact by phone and was always available if I had any questions. The apartment is minimal and cozy, which is exactly what I was looking for in a place to stay. Also, it's only a few blocks away from the subway, which was nice! The neighborhood is great; I never felt weird walking home alone at night and there are several businesses open after regular hours. I would definitely stay here again.
It was my first time in New York, Jenya patiently wait for me to arrive even I was a bit lost to find my way. The location was good, not too far from most tourist hot spot. I feel safe around the neighborhood. The apartment was very basic, if you are just staying for a few nights and you don't need much, it's good for you. However compare to similar location you can find something with similar price but a bigger apartment. Overall it's not a bad experience, however I do feel It's a little overprice.
Very nice experience ...she is friendly.. Everything clean !!!
The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for the places where I had to be on this trip. Jenya is a very friendly and pleasant person. It felt as if I was visiting a friend. I would recommend her to anyone who wishes to stay in New York City. Even at my age the five flights of stairs were not a real challenge. All in all a wonderful trip. Many thanks.
It's very nice to find this place in Manhattan, cheap and clean. The apartment is close to bus stop and subway. House owner Jenya is also very easygoing. Hope to stay here next time.
Jenya is a sweet guest. She was courteous and mindful of our time. Excellent communication. Being an airbnb host make her a great guest. She can stay here anytime. ..
My experience with Jenya was interesting, although we never met in person (only through Airbnb messages, email, and text). Although our listing specifies that each room is individually keyed for added guest security, one of her first questions was, "Does the room have a lock?" Fair enough to double-check, because I also use Airbnb to travel and understand that sometimes it's a good idea to do so. However, there were a couple of other things that left me kind of scratching my head. For instance, prior to booking the reservation, I informed Jenya that we had a guest checking out on the day of her desired check-in, and another checking in on the day of her desired check-out, so we'd need to know her anticipated check-in and check-out times before confirming that her stay would be feasible. She said she was flexible. Cool! I informed her that the new guest was checking in at 2 pm, so check-out would need to be early enough for us to clean the room before the new guest arrived. But once Jenya arrived, she asked if she could stay an extra night and just pay in cash. Although I might not have minded, we'd already talked numerous times about the new guest arriving on her confirmed check-out day. Then, on the day of check-out, Jenya texted me at 1:27 pm and asked if it was OK to check out at 1:30, and then immediately (literally less than 30 seconds later) followed with a text that said "I will check out at 2," although we'd already discussed that the new guest was checking in at 2. Luckily, I had received a message from our incoming guest that they were running late, so we still had enough time to turn over the room. But still, I thought the whole thing was a little odd. All in all, was it a huge deal? Nope. Certainly not the end of the world... but a little odd nonetheless.
