Wenn Sie in Bergkirchen einen schönen Aufenthalt genießen möchten, sind Sie bei mir genau richtig!
If you wish to have a great stay in Bergkirchen, come to my place.
My friend and I stayed here for 4 months as we were students in Munich.
The place is run like a guesthouse, and there is a receptionist (Elke). She works only in the mornings, but she is friendly and helps us the most. The host (Hans) is not around most of the time. His wife will not help at all. You should avoid the wife and look for Elke for help.
Sometimes, help takes very long to come. The mirror lights in the toilet had spoiled, and we had to wait for 2 weeks before someone came to check it. When he checked it, he didn't repair it, but also spoiled the ceiling light in the toilet. We had no light to shower or use the toilet. We asked Hans' wife for help, but she just said that she cannot help us in any way. Only towards the end did she arrange for a technician to come the next morning, and asked her worker to install a temporary lamp for us.
The location is not very ideal. We found it hard to navigate to the place. The exact address is 56 Ludwig-Thoma-Straße. There is a S-bahn stop within 5 minutes walking distance, but the train only comes once every hourly. We only knew of it after we moved it. The place is inconvenient and doesn't have any grocery stalls or supermarkets. We buy our groceries near our school, or from the town beside which is one S-bahn stop away. On the same topic, there is no signal in the area. You cannot use your phone to call anyone or send any text messages.
The house is not fully equipped. There are limited utensils. We had to request for them, but received only knifes. We had to request them again from Elke, and we managed to get forks and spoons. Utensils should be easy for them because they also operate a restaurant just outside the apartment. Also, there is no dish-washing liquid, no cooking oil, no ingredients, no detergent, and no body soap. We have to buy everything. However, we left behind dish-washing liquid, cooking oil, ingredients, detergent, and body soap. Hopefully, the next guest can use them well.
Wifi is not included in the rent, and you have to pay for it separately. It costs €25 a month. Also, we received a request from the wife to clean up the apartment before we left. Alternatively, her maid could clean it for us but for a fee. It was the first time I had received such a request, but we cleaned the house anyway.
Although the house is under equipped, the host's wife is not helpful, and the location is isolated, the house is really cosy and comfortable. It is spacious, and plenty of space to utilise. We enjoyed using the sofa, and the yard outside. It was a comfortable place to stay in.
It was a very pleasant stay over these 3 months. The property owners and Frau Kapel - who manages the apartment - were always very helpful will my needs and request. The location is beautiful and quiet, within 5 min walking to the S-Bahn station, which was quite convenient. The apartment has everything one might need to live. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was good sized and it has a modern atmosphere, exactly how the picture shows. There is also a washing and drying machine available. Great value for money and great stay overall. ;-)
The apartment was exactly as advertised in a lovely quiet rural location. It is only a short trip to Dachau for many shops and Munich can easily be reached on the train. I would certainly stay here again.
Sehr nette Gastgeber, Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet. Alles bestens!
