Felt just like home, didn't want to leave.Lovely family and great place, will stay longer next time.
Karen's space is very private and cozy! Bed was so comfortable and we had access to beverages and snacks any time we liked. The breakfast muffins were delicious! Karen was a very thoughtful host, helped us with a place to stay at the last minute, flexible with check in and check out. We arrived late and the porch was very well lit for us. Safe neighborhood, too. We highly recommend!
This suite was perfect for us and very comfortable. Karen was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.
My husband and I really enjoyed our 3-night stay here. Our host, Karen, was so attentive and helpful. Her baked goods lived up to the other reviews on this site! She gave us some great tips on things to see and do in and around Mount Airy, including the Peaceful Heart alpaca farm on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We found our lodgings to be cozy, comfy and homey. We would highly recommend this B&B to others we know who are traveling to Mount Airy.
This is such a sweet, quaint little apartment. My husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet and we especially enjoyed Karen's baked muffins! Karen is wonderful hostess and we will definitely book with her again if we ever return to Mt. Airy.
Karen is a kind and gracious host. She made extra effort to make sure that I and my family had everything we needed to be comfortable throughout our stay in the quaint little town where Andy Griffith grew up. The rumors about wonderful baked goods are all true!.
My husband and I had a great get-away weekend at Karen's. The small apartment was actually much larger than I thought it would be and was well accomodated. It was just like home! There were throw blankets available and plenty of snacks that Karen said we could help ourselves too. Also, her baked goods were to die for! We loved our weekend in Mount Airy exploring downtown 'Mayberry' and this location was close enough to walk (a little under a mile) to pretty much everything so we could spend some time sipping wine at Old State Winery or seeing a movie at Earle Theater. We also went and hiked Pilot Mountain which was about a 15 minute drive. It was a great experience and Karen communicated with us throughout the weekend even though she was out of town.
We had a wonderful weeknd in Mount Airy thanks to Karens hospitality. The accommodations were wonderful and the location couldn't have gotten any better. We were welcomed with delicious home baked goodies that made us feel right at home. I would recommend staying here any day of the week!
Karen was an excellent host, and very accommodating as far as check out/in time. I really enjoyed meeting her and chatting with her. She left snacks for us and gave us a lot of good info about the local area. It was an excellent experience!
Loved staying at Karen's. She was a great hostess, her place was nice and comfortable and she had great tips on where to go and eat! We love Mayberry (oops, Mt. Airy) !
Karen and her daughter were wonderful guests. I look forward to the next time they need a place in Greenville!
Karen is the best host. She makes you feel right at home and her baking is so yummy. The apartment is perfect and comfortable. She gives a great tour of Mt. Airy. A perfect weekend get away!
