Luigi"s Townhouse is a fantastic place to stay in Hobart City, wonderful renovation, so inspiring and you have the feeling you are in another century, the interior is amazing tasty and the garden is romantic. we were lucky and could sit outside for a glass of wine. its close to everything and if we are in Hobart we would stay there again.
Great location, beautiful terrace house. The owner was caring and provided us with all the necessary information and always replied fast.
Great space for our family. Exactly what we were looking for. Comfy beds and warm when we needed it to be. Loved the washer/dryer combination. The kids loved the back garden and the mystery of the locked doors. The coffee cart under the roundabout was a pleasant surprise! Proximity to aquatic centre was an extra bonus. Parking could be an issue for some but we were out and about by 10 am and back late, so the restrictions never applied to us.
This was the perfect place to stay. It was so clean and comfortable. The house has beautiful furnishings and so much character. It is walking distance to Salamanca and the CBD, as well as the Aquatic centre and Botanical Gardens.
Luigi was a perfect host, he answered all my questions and made our stay easy and comfortable. I would stay here again, and recommend it to anyone.
Beautiful historic cottage. Well appointed and very comfortable. Just a short stroll to the center of town, this place is perfectly situated as a base to explore Hobart.
Luigi is a very accommodating host. We could not have asked for anything more. Thanks!
Beautiful old terrace house with lots of character and nicely furnished with antiques. The beds were super comfy and everything was clean and homely. I would definitely recommend this place.
We only stayed for one night but wished that we had booked it for longer. It was a bit like going back in time (without the inconvenience!). Everything was wonderfully clean, which hadn't always been the case in some places we'd stayed around Hobart! The kitchen and whole house was beautifully fitted out to suit the old terrace style house. I had the best sleep I'd had all holiday in one of the double beds provided. The owners even left us some drinks in the fridge, which was very nice. The only thing I would mention is that it may not be appropriate for someone elderly or otherwise incapacitated, as there are three flights of stairs. I am pregnant and did not find these a chore, as the first set lead to the main living areas, so you tend to only use the last flight up to the bedroom and back. But that's what you get with a terrace house, which is exactly what we expected, of course, and all part of the charm!
so good on all accounts!
close to marina action where our focus was during the Sydney to Hobart finish, but far away enough that we were free from the noisy salty sea dog menaces!
Wish we found Luigi's charming townhouse earlier as it was just so homey, comfy and relaxing. Unfortunately we were in and out due to sailing activities, and thank you Luigi for being so quick to reply to our emails, and booking. Sorry we kept pestering you to stay again!!
Happy New Year.
