Christina was a first time Air Bnb user who was clearly uncomfortable staying in another person's home. When asked specifically what wasn't clean enough in the apartment she kept talking about the 'weird art on the walls' and how she felt as though 'the host was going to return home at any moment'. Upon further discussion she admitted the house was in fact clean, but she was expecting something more lavish and hotel-esque. She told me she browsed the Air Bnb homepage and saw many advertised homes and apartments with brand new furnishings. For those of you who use this site regularly you understand that many of the homes featured on the air Bnb home page are staged and may not even have people living in them. When in reality many hosted homes are lived in and feature like art, instruments, and furniture that has been around for a few years.
