I'm a recent transplant to San Francisco from Pittsburgh, now working as a software engineer at TaskRabbit, Inc. It's been great here. I love the city; it's definitely the place to be for me. Before my current job, I had two different tech startups of my own, one of which got acquired this spring (2011).
I travel mostly for pleasure, just small one or two night getaways here and there. Airbnb lets me find places that I'd otherwise never be able to see just staying in regular hotels, which just inspires me to do it more often. :-)
As for hobbies, I'm pretty into tech and gadgets. I have a pilot's license and fly small airplanes for fun. I also like to read. I don't read much fiction anymore, but my favorite book is probably Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. As for non-fiction, I really enjoyed Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. I read a lot of tech- and entrepreneurship-related stuff.
Favorite TV show is Modern Family. Favorite music is synth-pop along the lines of Owl City, but I pretty much listen to all the Top 40 stuff. I love a good Italian meal, and breakfast foods are good all day.
