The host was great and neighborhood was breathtaking
It's been one of the most fantastic and memorable stays on our trip to Italy! Both Gessica and her mum were super helpful and attentive! The place was absolutely amazing! Clean and spacious with a great terrace! Tastefully decorated with everything u need! Will highly recommend this gorgeous place to stay!!!! ❤️
Gessica's apartment was a joy to stay in for four nights. She is an artist as well as an interior designer, and this unit is a feast for the eyes, especially for those who are aesthetically inclined. Her own artwork and unique touches are everywhere. The view from the large terrace is also a treasure that we miss already. It overlooks one of the most beautiful valleys in Tuscany. The apartment is also thoughtfully stocked with everything a visitor could need except for an iron and ironing board. But the washing machine works efficiently, especially if you use rapido. There is a line off of the terrace where you can hang clothes to dry. And all of the appliances are modern, as is the decor in this ancient building. Someone had complained of noise from the apartment above, but we discovered it's only when they walked on the floor or scraped a chair. Otherwise, we didn't hear conversation from that unit, so we felt very private. Also, though we were on a main street, everything quieted after 11 PM so there was no trouble sleeping. Another thing to note is the place is much bigger than it appears in these photos. The master bedroom is HUGE with its own sofa in addition to armoire, desk, etc. The only caution is that there are many steps from the parking seven area to the apartment. My husband is 78 and I'm 74. I can't lift because of a bad back, and I was concerned about my husband lugging our three bags up all those stairs in the heat. But Gianovani, Gessica's mother, and her husband came to the rescue. They had Gessica drive down to get us, loaded the bags into her car, and that took care of the problem. They also picked us up when we were ready to leave. But I'm sure that younger bodies would have no trouble with the steps, and that was the only glitch. Otherwise, this is an exceptional accommodation in Tuscany. By the way, if you visit the area and are interested in the past, be sure to visit the Etruscan museum in nearby Chiusi. What an amazing collection it has of that period.
The apartment was great, even nicer in person. Very spacious with excellent facilities and a great view from the balcony. Great location within the town to easily walk and explore. The check in / out was very easy and our host very helpful. We would definitely recommend
Gessica and her mother were wonderful hosts with superb taste, as the apartment is beautifully decorated. They both went out of their way to accommodate us and our schedule. The apartment is in a prime location with magnificent views of Tuscany. Our only regret is not booing another night. We will be back!
The apartment was really exceptionally well decorated. My wife didn't want to leave. Gessica furnished the apartment with her artwork so it had very cool vibe. The apartment overall was very spacious as well. Gessica and her mother also gave some great local recommendations.
Absolutely loved the apartment. The view from the balcony was incredible. The location was great. Free parking was available nearby. We were met by a friend that took the time to show us around and how to use everything. Very creatively decorated, but still very functional. We moved around during this trip. Knowing what I know now, I would stayed here for 5-7 days and used as a base. Love the town, food, and people.
Great place. Better than the pictures.
I loved everything about my stay at Gessica's gorgeous apartment. The highlight, of course, was the beautiful terrace overlooking the countryside, but the entire apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. The pictures barely do it justice.
And Gessica and her lovely parents were great hosts. When I asked for a radio or something to play music on, they immediately brought over a great sound system for my ipad/iphone. They gave me restaurant recommendations, help with planning, and even a ride to the train station at the end of my stay. I give this place and my hosts my very highest recommendation! I am sure I will return.
Montepulciano itself is a perfect spot for exploring Tuscany and the stunning Val d'Orcia. The apartment is perfectly located on the main, mostly pedestrian, street and noise was not a problem at all. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby as well as lovely little shops.
Montepluciano is our new favorite place. The apartment is amazing and has the most beautiful view. We also ate the best food of our whole trip at a local restaurant. Such an amazing place to stay and Gessica was a wonderful host.
Gessica and her boyfriend were ideal guests. Just a cool laid back couple enjoying themselves. Very quiet and respectful, would absolutely recommend them to any host.
