I'm a writer living in Sacramento while I report on poverty and homelessness issues, sometimes working with state legislators on problems facing the homeless community.
I've only been in Sacramento for a year. Before moving to California, I've lived in Brooklyn, Phoenix, Buenos Aires, Punta del Diablo (Uruguay), Madison, Florence and Connecticut. At the moment, I couldn't be happier with my current home.
My entire career is based on learning about other people, so you'll notice that I'll probably spend a lot more time asking questions about you than telling you about myself. My cliff notes: I love red wine, Latin America, getting into a bit of trouble, soccer and running. I actually ran my first half marathon in San Francisco in April of 2012. It was amazing.
I don't have a motto, though I generally just strive to be kind and rally behind humanity's pursuit of knowledge.
