Ahmed was a delight, he made us feel like family. Funny, informative, and he went way beyond what anyone would expect to help us enjoy our stay in Fes. He exchanged our money, arranged guides, taxis, served us the wonderful mint tea any time. When we arrived late and tired, this Mother cooked us a special dinner. The Raid was right in the center of the Souq. We were met at the gate and our luggage was carried in by cart. I feel as though I have made a life long friend. Thanks for a great experience Ahmed.
Really enjoyed our stay at Riad Meski; the room and riad itself were lovely, and Ahmed and his family extremely welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.
Ahmed was very professional - made it easy for us to find the place by having someone meet us at one of the main gates - which could have been complicated in a complex medina. He answered all of our questions. Location and price of the riad were ideal. The place was clean, traditional. Would recommend for anyone passing through Fez.
Both the Ryads belonging to Ahmed and her sweet associate are wonderful places for living the magic city of Fez.
They are super kind, hospitable (always ready for sharing a tea when you come back home) and helpful with every information or service you ask them.
The rooms are big and beautiful, the terrace is very nice an the entire building shows an amazing architecture and attention in every detail.
Delicious and rich breakfast included!
A place to advise to everyone!:)

We had a lovely stay at Riad Meski. Host Ahmed was friendly, professional and helpful in advising us where to go (and how to get there!).
Location is great – close to Bab Guissa and the two main roads in the centre of the medina. Our room was clean and spacious. A pleasant atmosphere to the whole place in general! There is no sign for the entrance to the riad so someone will have to meet you somewhere on arrival (it would be impossible to find otherwise!).
Thanks Ahmed and family for a great stay.
We enjoyed staying at Riad Meski. The room was big and comfortable, and the breakfasts were tasty.
Ahmed is really a nice guy. Give me every necessary information and try to make me feel at home and happy in Meski. Actually, I was. The Riad has really great location, easy to find way to all sightseeing. Hot shower and good breakfast on the rooftop. If u want to try local life, recommend here.
It was a fabulous riad and the first time for our friends stay in a place like this. Very good location and convenient to walk around. Right in Ahmed is very helpful whenever we have questions about the medina and the around. The breakfast was great too. Would be happy to go back next time when I'm in Fez.
A true Moroccan experience! My fiance and I led a group of 10 university students and rented the entire Riad for three days/two nights. Living with Ahmed's family was a superb experience for us and our students. Ahmed was personable and very accommodating to our students needs (food allergies, tips, heat, bedding, etc.) If you get a chance to have a family dinner with them (or cooked by them), do it. It was phenomenal, and a highlight of our students' experiences in Morocco. Location was good for Fez (it's a 10-minute ramble from Bab el Guissa) with easy access to taxis and souks and the major sights. Ahmed also arranged an "official tour guide" for us, as well as transport to and from the train station--both for very reasonable prices. He also, on very short notice, arranged for our transportation to view the city in the evening from the Merenid tombs (something not to be missed, especially as the call to prayer happens...with a reputed 365 mosques calling at the same time!)
Even before we arrived Ahmed was very helpful in planning our trip. He arranged transport for us and someone to help us find our way through the Medina with our luggage.
On arrival he could not have been more accommodating. We were hungry after a long journey and he arranged a simple but delicious home cooked meal with Saeda, who he works with across the road. We still remember that first taste of Morocco and it's hard to beat Saeda's food - highly recommended!
Ahmed also provided a lot of help arranging tours and lots of assistance finding our way around, whether to restaurants in the
evenings or local places to see. It was never a hassle to him, all done in his stride. Even though he is a very busy man, his main concern was that we were always happy.
We were there at New Year it did get a bit chilly so bring extra clothes as Riads are made to be cool in the summer not for winter!
We can't recommend this place highly enough. We left having felt we had made new friends in Ahmed and Saeda. We loved every minute and will not be forgotten.
