We offer accommodation for people who would like to visit the city for a short period, meet nice people and have great time in Dublin.
The room set up by Lorena was absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. It's very much a student dorm style accommodation, so it may not be the ritziest of set-ups, but it was clean and well prepared for my stay.
I had a bit of trouble checking in due to a combination of my stay being over the Christmas/New Years holidays and other external factors, but everyone affiliated with the school during my stay was very helpful in sorting things out.
If you're looking for a clean, quiet little place to lay your head while staying in Dublin, it's hard to beat the value here.
I was very happy to find Lorena's on such short notice! I made the reservation on the same day that I arrived and she got back to me right away. She also kept in touch via texting and was quick to reply when I had questions about the directions to the room.
Perhaps because of the short notice there weren't any towels or toilet paper, and I needed to put the linens on the bed, but everything was CLEAN! And a good price.
Getting to the apartment from the ferry took some walking between the bus stops...Definitely plan your route before you arrive. There is a bus stop a bit over a block away from the entrance to the apartments, the stop is Stoneybatter 328, and bus 39 and 39a stop here.
I had to press on the switch sometimes to get the bathroom light to turn on, just flipping it was not always enough. I didn't figure out how to turn up the heat and there was supposed to be a cord for internet but I couldn't find it. These are not necessarily problems with the place, just items you'll want to be sure to figure out before you're on your own!
Overall, simple, basic accommodation at a reasonable price...very glad the option was available for my single night in Dublin :)
