Hello, Our stay in the classy, clean & Central Soho home was great, the apartment was great and confortable, it's situated just between Nolita/Soho at a walking distance to little Italy and Chinatown!
The Apartment offered us many facilities: it was fully equipped with all kinf of household and appliances going from full cutlery, fridge, oven, microwave, basic cleaning equipment, washing machine and dryer (The turned out to be super useful and handy for us), bed linens, towels...
In our street we were lucky to have amazing restaurants and dinners, same goes to the streets nearby,
In addition we were also lucky to have access to amazing vintage and local designers stores: for shoes and clothes, and accessories, we had the chance to take advantage of the annual semi sale throughout the whole period of our stay
The only if I might say small hic up was the control of the heating system, the apartment was over heated when the heating system was on, and we felt the apartment was extremely warm, we could not close the heating system in the bedroom inside the apartment, not the one overlooking the street,
Other than that the area was great, and as I said is a walking to amazing streets such as Broadway, Spring, Prince, Bowery, Houston, Bleecker... Where you can find shopping stores, cafe's, restuarant, dinners, Art galleries...
I highly recommend it for everyone looking to stay in that specfic area of New York City,
Everything in Ed's description was spot on: great location for restaurants, subways, shopping,... The openness of the kitchen-dining-living room helps to give the feeling of a larger place. Keep in mind there is no TV. Then again, staying in NYC means being out and about not hiding in an apt watching TV. The dining table is typically small with 2 chairs, but there is a wheeled computer chair in the 2nd room. The leftover (packaged) food and drinks in the fridge prove that most folks spend time eating outdoors. The flights of stairs to the 4th floor aren't bad, just don't overlook this if you are expecting an elevator. Very impressed with Ed's responsiveness. He called back or picked up our calls whenever we had questions or needed something.
great apartment and great location. apartment was very large for ny standards, very clean, and amazingly quiet. bevan was very helpful, easy to contact, and very accomodating. i would definitely stay here again and again.
Great location! Nice large apartment, perfect for exploring Manhattan. Ed is very easy to contact and a great host!
Beven (Ed) was a great host and very nice guy. He accommodated me very well and the apartment is exactly as advertised in the very nicest part of Soho (and steps from the Village). I would recommend his place to anyone looking for a great NYC vacation in downtown's finest neighborhood.
This flat is everything it promises to be! Perfect location, quiet for NYC standards... great food, shopping, coffee, bars etc. right outside the front door. The three of us spent 5 days comfortably at Bevan's place (not that we were home much xcept sleeping!) - we would come back and stay again anytime!
Excellent stay - highly recommended.
The apartment is in a great part of the city and is very comfortable. Bevan is also an excellent host and clearly cares about making sure his guests have a great experience.
I don't think you could get a better location that here, in Soho or even in NYC!! So close to so many fantastic restaurants, jazz clubs, cocktail bars, shopping, subways and everything else you need for your New York visit. You can even see the Empire state building from the fire escape!
The apartment gave you the real feeling of living in New York and Ed/ Bevan was available to answer any questions about the area or New York.
I loved it and would definitely stay here on my next visit to NY.
We had a great time. The location is perfect - close to Little Italy and Soho. We felt that we had a better NYC experience staying here than we would have gotten by staying in a hotel. Public transportation is very close by and easy to use. The place is clean, very updated, spacious, and comfortable. Ed was very accommodating and made sure that we had everything we needed. We were even able to drop off our luggage earlier and then come back later. There are tons of restaurants in the area and great shopping. One of our favorite places for breakfast was the Grey Dog across the street. Overall a wonderful experience and I would not hesitate to stay in the same apartment next time I'm in NYC!
Everything about this apartment was perfect for our stay. Well located, clean, secure and comfortable.
In addition our host Ed was more than helpful before and during our stay, providing useful information about the building, the neighbourhood and even directions from the airport for first time visitors. Staying nearby, he also made himself available, should any further help have been required.
Would stay here again and happily recommend to all.
