We are from dominican republic. An young couple of an artist/designer and a musician/actor that bought this charming house down in the colonial zone. Love to have people from all parts of the world, and exchange experiences.
We stayed only for two nights and we wish we stayed longer. The house is so lovely! It is right in the colonial zone and supermarkets, restaurants, etc. are all in walking distance.
It is clean, every room has a fan and the sleeping room even a/c. The water pressure is supported by a pump in the patio which helps a lot.
I can only recommend staying at La Casita!
Our stay at La Casita was phenomenal! It is located on one of the most charming streets in Zona Colonial and it's many windows give the place great ventilation. Natalia was a pleasure. Next time we visit, we would love to stay here again.
It was my 4th time o stay in Santo Domingo, buit i never found a better and more lovely place than this. It's perfectly situated to get to know the dominican lifestyle, but (email hidden)ar to all the sights and every style of restaurant, it is the best place i know to stay in Santo Domingos Zona Colonial. Thanks for all and see you soon, Natalia.
From the flower splashed front to the colonial styled interior, La Castia looks just as attractive in real life as it does in the pictures. The whitewashed solid stone walls and wooden shutter windows give it a real colonial appeal – and you get air con. The area couldn’t be better. Set off a quiet street in the colonial zone you are just a few minutes from the main street of El Conde and there are dozens of bars and restaurants nearby.
Natalia was friendly and even brought us out for breakfast on our final morning and was kind enough to drop us off at the bus station when we were leaving.
One word of warning. We were in Santo Domingo in February and got eaten by mosquitos. Bring some spray.
Fife stars casita !
We had a great stay in Natalia's place and recommend it strongly!
The apartment La Casita was all that the listing promised it to be, and just the place I had been looking for for my vacation in Santo Domingo. Located in one of the most charming alleys in the Zona colonial and beautifully decorated with an abundance of potted plants, paintings and other art, it was truly soaking in charm.
Natalia was nice host, responsive and easy to communicate with, eager to make sure that I had an enjoyable stay.
