I like dancing, photography, travel, and hiking. However; I like to spend time with my husband, kids, and grandchildren the most. I cant live without friendship/family, music, and beautiful places...oh yeah and chocolate!

Our hosts were there to warmly welcome us and describe the history of the area. The house was well equipped for our needs and we enjoyed eating on the patio in the warm sunshine and hearing the creek flow by behind the house. I also enjoyed following the path down to the creek and exploring along the boulders that line it. The view of the stars from the patio was also amazing. If you want a comfortable stay a short drive from the hustle and bustle of town, this little house is the place for you.
This guest house is as described in the listing. We didn't meet Lynn during our stay but Richard was there and helpful with requests and information in general. Directions to get there were very clear. It is neat and clean.
As mentioned in the listing there is no reliable phone reception, you have to drive in to town for that.
Not mentioned in the listing is that it is close to a busy highway, so when sitting outside you can hear the cars, as well as the creek.
It was great for a romantic getaway. The views outside are beautiful! It is close to lots of great hiking and Sedona. The back patio is lovely. The bathroom is newly remodeled and looks great. We enjoyed the woodburning stove.
The cottage was about a 10-12 minute drive from the heart of Sedona, which was nice to be away from it all.
It would have been nice to get detailed instructions on the cottage. For example: there was a wood burning stove inside but I didn't know how to use it, so it would have been nice to have a booklet with instructions.
My stay at the cottage was cozy, comfortable and very quiet. The 10 minute drive up the beautiful canyon to the cottage is just far enough to feel a bit secluded. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the basic utensils if you prefer to cook your own meals. Everything was very clean and tidy. The cottage is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and it's the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a retreat, slightly away from town. Thank you Lynn!
We had a great time at the cozy cottage! Everything was very clean. It was just a 10 minute drive from town and every hike we did was only about 20 or so minutes away maximum. It is such a beautiful area to stay in. The cottage looks just as it does in the pictures, so what you see is what you get, which is important! We would highly recommend this cottage.
What a wonderful spot! It was a great location - close to town, but far enough to feel "away" from it all! It really did feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend the West Fork hike if you stay here; it's just 6 miles away and gorgeous!
Wonderful location, quiet and private, perfect for a retreat. Everything was clean, the hostess accommodating and helpful. Exploring the stream was fun, great place to relax and sunbathe away from the crowds. Loved the fragrant rose bushes. Thank you Lynn for sharing your lovely cottage.
We stayed in Lynn's cozy cottage for 11 nights and found ourselves settling in thoroughly. It's tucked into a small neighborhood in Oak Creek Canyon with beautiful views out the front and back of the cottage. The kitchen is well equipped, so we could cook in when we wanted, which took the pressure off of eating out everyday. There isn't internet or cell access, but it was fine to time our connection to the rest of the world either when we went to the lovely cafe a mile down the road or when we were in town. And honestly we were doing so much hiking that we didn't need to be on the phone or computer. It really allowed us to truly relax and let go. We didn't get to meet Lynn until the second weekend we were there, but she's a lovely host and very responsive to suggestions. Enjoyed her presence when she was there. All in all a very nice stay.
Cushing was great. Very easy to communicate with and an overall great guest. I would definitely recommend her and have her stay again!
