I was born in Richmond, CA. Went to school and college in Texas and now I've been in New York City more than two years. I'm currently working with Time Warner Corp. in their Small Business Department. Love to take part of the Brooklyn music scene

I stayed 3 days in Omar house with my girlfriend.....Omar was friendly and funny
My time for NY was short so we did not have too much time for Share but everything was good
The Omar place has a very good location just three block to the train station and 30 minutes to Manhattan
I hope go back some day!
Good, as expected. The host was quite helpful
Omar was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Showed me some good hangouts in Brooklyn/Williamsburg area. No problems whatever. Location is also good and safe, even late in the night. Street parking available.
Omar is a great host and social person.
The room was exactly as listed. Great for a short term stay / if you're in a bind - possibly the cheapest space on all of AirBNB and Omar was a good host.
Omar was hospitable, friendly, and accommodating. I got into town late and my he was kind enough to wait up for me. He was also helpful in showing me around the neighborhood a bit. Thanks for everything Omar!
I booked Omar's place for just one night of stay and to be honest, I am pretty glad that it was just one night although both Omar as well as Omar's flatmate, Chabi, were really friendly. Why? A few reasons. Firstly, although I knew that the bed was in the living room, what I didn't know was that it was right next by the toilet and kitchen. The place was really tiny and when I say 'right next by', I mean it pretty literally. Both my mum and I are pretty light sleepers so we didn't really sleep well, especially since they got up pretty early in the mornings and came back rather late at night. The door slamming and kitchen pot banging constantly woke us up. Secondly, the room came with neither a fan nor aircon and because of that, it got rather warm at times. Thirdly, they don't have a water kettle so if you're into drinking hot water or drinks like us, this can be a tiny inconvenience. Not a biggie since they have a microwave but still. The good points are the hosts' friendliness and general cleanliness; they made sure to launder the bed sheets and comforters before we used them. However, their washroom was a little dirty and absolutely miniscule. My mum had a bit of trouble with that cause she's a little claustrophobic but I was okay.
Checking in was a little annoying because Omar told me that I could check in at 8am but in the end, the person before me changed her mind and decided to leave at 12pm (and Omar couldn't do anything about it, being gracious and all). I ended up sitting at the unstable rickety table in the kitchen feeling excessive.
One awesome thing was this really great and cheap restaurant nearby: Rowe's restaurant! It is a must try!
All good, muy buena pasantía en general en la casa de Omar.
I made the booking 30 minutes before my arrival, late night, and Omar was able to host me! It was an amazing experience! Really well located in Brooklyn, with great breakfast and an exciting nearby nightlife. On the next day, Omar gave me some precious tips for my stay and showed me some really cool places! I strongly recommend his BnB! He lives with a roommate who is really cool as well.
