I am a teacher at a small private boarding school outside of Asheville, NC. I teach English and direct theater in our school and also direct shows at the local Shakespeare in the park community theater. I have spent the last four summers working on my Masters in English through Middlebury College's Bread Loaf program at campuses in Vermont and Santa Fe (my husband comes along and has my back). This summer I finish at Lincoln College in Oxford. I have traveled all over the world (25+ countries) and prefer to stay with locals so I feel like I have really visited that place. The most memorable place I have visited? A small fishing village on Cephalonia in Greece called Fiskardo. It had one oven the village of 80 or so used to bake all of their bread. Found it using a Frommer guide.
My life motto is:
I am equal to every person in that I can learn from them.
