Shannon is a friendly, easy going host. The guest space is roomy and (email hidden)ere is also a nice back patio, great for eating, reading, or just relaxing. Shannon responds quickly to requests for information or help. Her home is within blocks of 3 different public bus lines which worked well for me since I don't have a car. It's a good place to stay.
Absolutely loved this place! It's nice and private, the bed is new and very comfortable, and very close to bus stops. I would stay there again if it's available next time I'm in town. Thank you Shannon!
I rented Shannon's private room on Rhone Street for 8 months. If you're like me, you judge a spaces liveability based on the shower and the cleanliness of the floors (wierd? maybe). Shannon remodeled this studio very recently and so the shower is new and perfect for someone tall (like me). And the carpet is new, clean and really soft. You'll feel good walking around barefoot here. Although this is an upstairs room of the house, I always felt like I had plenty of space and plenty of privacy.
Shannon is a good host and friendly. If you are looking for some good hotspots in the neighborhood, she'll be able to help you out. Her house is nice and clean and she has a nice garden in chickens in the backyard.
If you're looking for a quiet location with plenty of space, this is a good place. Downtown is about a 15 minute drive or 45 minutes biking, but there's an excellent coffee shop (Sweetness Bakery) and bar (Slingshot) within a few blocks of the house.
