Hi I couldn't live without my lovely family, friends, doggies, garden and mountain bike!

I've loved our travels in Europe and the States - with more money and time we would def go further afield, hopefully in years to come this May be possible.

I'm a member of a book group so have read a wide variety of books over the last few years, it's great as it forces you to read things you'd never pick up - I love reading fiction set in different cultures, British classics and crime fiction.

As to films, don't like anything too scary probably 'Gladiator' and 'The Kings Speech' would be favourites tho really enjoyed 'Sunshine on Leith' recently probably because it's set in Edinburgh which is def home.

We love going to the theatre, I really enjoy plays eg War Horse and One Man Two Govenors and musicals - West Side Story is my favourite.

I'm pretty eclectic when it comes to music. I love traditional Scottish music with a twist ie when it crosses into country and western but not the real blue grass stuff! Love Paul Simon, saw Peter Gabriel recently who was AMAZING. Also love Jake Bugg, Cara Dillon, Lumineers, Snow Patrol, Coldplay, Micael Buble, Billy Holiday, Adele, Paolo Nattini, JJ Kale, a bit of Beethoven and some opera. Told you it was a bit diverse!

Love trying lots of different foods esp Thai and Chinese.

We love traveling light and doing lots of different things ie exploring new places. We are not a sit round the pool or beach type family and like going to several different places within each holiday. Hence we tend to be out most of the day, tho sometimes we will have the odd lazy morning before heading off.

Don't have a life motto as such but trying to be kind and having a smile for folk always makes life a little better.
