O apartamento de Emmanuel é simples mas confortável e excepcionalmente bem localizado. De lá se vai a pé à muitas das atrações da cidade. Metrô e RER à poucos metros do apartamento.
Tudo correu bem durante minha estada. Embora eu não tenha tido contato direto com Emmanuel, outras pessoas designadas por ele me atenderam muito bem. O check-in e o check-out foram bem tranquilos e tudo correu satisfatoriamente.
Emmanuel, thanks for ur great service. We had great time by ur hosting.
This is a very nice apartment in an excellent location. The was little noise. The apartment was fairly clean, but there were some repairs that are needed including a broken coffee table. The host was very accommodating, and responsive. He allowed us to store our luggage for several hours after we vacated the apartment. This was very helpful.
The location of the apartment is fabulous. You're very close to everything - inclusively to a direct RER from/to CDG (St Michel). Nice restaurants, pubs, walks. Notre Dame is only 10 min away. The building is great, really old Paris - very charming. But the apartment itself is quite dilapidated. And I don't mean old, it's just not looked after enough - dirty and tired. Such a shame, It can be transformed into such a beautiful property. We had an incident with the phones listed in the AirBnB apartment profile: one of them doesn't belong to Emmanuel and another one was permanently switched off, so we couldn't contact the host for the first few days (we were let in by probably a concierge - he didn't speak English, we didn't speak French, so we couldn't have a meaningful conversation). I hope the host made an effort and changed the phone numbers on the site apartment profile. If you decide to go for the apartment, make sure you have a working live phone number to contact the host (you will definitely want to speak with him to sort out many issues :). Good luck!
The apartment is fantastically located with a very vibrant street with cafes and restaurants just round the corner. The apartment itself is though very quite and has a great entry sequence of courtyard and grand (website hidden). Germain might be touristic - the quarter of the appartments part gives one yet a local impression
Emmanuel is super nice and responsive.
Thank you very much
Good apartment in beautiful spot. Classic courtyard and building. My first time renting apartment, and it was a pleasure. Was met on time (was coming from airport) without having a local cell phone, just emailing. A pleasure!
We had a great stay in Paris at this apartment. The closest metro is San Michel - I got a bit lost and walked from St Germain metro in the rain so arrived late but someone was there to meet us and explain the apartment to us. Nice old French apartment building and a great location to see the sights of Paris.
They say that location is everything, and this is true for this apt. It is right in the middle of everything and easy to get where you need to go via the metro at St. Michel. The positives for this apt are the dishwasher, washer/dryer (although not great at drying), and plenty of space. The owner was even kind enough to drop off a hair dryer for me. Although it was fine for us, a family of 5 with 3 teenagers, it was no luxury apt. The furniture was old and stained, as well as the carpets, which seemed dirty and stained. The pictures on the web site are very misleading as it looks A LOT nicer than it is. The towels were mismatched and threadbare as was the furniture. We thought there would be 3 beds, but the 3rd bed turned out to be a lumpy old futon on the floor. We were told the pull out couch was difficult to use and not very comfortable, so we didn't even try it. We didn't cook at home, so not sure how the kitchen appliances worked, but they did have plenty of pots, dishes, etc. I'm not saying it was a bad place, I just think you should know what you are getting into. Oh, and buy some toilet tissue, as there was only half a roll when we got there and we had 5 people!!
Our family of 6, all over 50, including my mother of 82, had a FABULOUS 5 night stay here. I lived in Paris for 7 years so know it well and I cannot think of a better location to be based for visiting this fabulous city.
Yes the accommodation is basic – but it is comfortable and no, we did not find it dirty. This is not a new apartment (which adds to its charm) and yes, some of the fittings are a little tired – but they all still work!
Mathieu was punctual and showed us around the apartment on our arrival and showed us how everything worked.
Louise and I used the pull-out bed in the lounge and slept very well, despite being fussy sleepers.
The value for money is exceptional, however if you want pristine accommodation look elsewhere, but you will pay accordingly.
