I'm a southern transplant currently living in San Francisco and working for Jawbone as Senior Community Manager. I'm a fan of indie rock, Japanese-anything, period pieces, a patron of the arts, and a lover of life and a voracious reader.

I'm a fan of experiences rather than "things" and would rather spend my money on a 5 course tasting or ticket to a concert over a fancy new electronic item. Russ & I are huge fans of craft beer and I'm sort of an amateur cocktail-maker. You'll usually find me making delectable cocktails for my friends at home. We don't have cable, and prefer to watch Netflix on-demand through our TV. We spend our weekends walking around town, grabbing drinks with our friends, and checking out special, unique events together.

We love to travel and have friends spread out all through the US in plenty of major cities. However, we don't like to encroach on our friend's good graces, hence why I signed up for Airbnb! We're both non-smoking and just need a comfortable place to sleep and relax in-between going out and exploring!

Since meeting each other in 2004, we've been all over the US and started branching out into Europe and Mediterranean. Our favorite destinations are the Pacific Northwest (we're thinking of relocating there!) and we absolutely loved London, so much so that our hotel innkeeper exclaimed (when we came home late one evening) "You must LOVE the UK!"

We're a power team, so basically we're happy wherever we travel and tend to make our own fun. We have a set of things we like to do in every city we travel to, 1.) Find the tallest location on the first day in town and scope out the view 2.) Visit a fantastic beer bar 3.) Go to a local spot for dancing, karaoke, (or whatever that location is popular for) and enjoy it!

My motto is one that i've been using my whole life. It comes from a Mary Oliver poem I love called When Death Comes: "I don't want to end up simply having visited this world."
