I live in the same building, My son Mathieu answers my phone because he speaks better english than me
It's is such a wonderful stay. Very convenient location, and lovely apartment.
Our first AirBnB with Judith was great! The appartment is perfectly located in the very centre of Paris but nevertheless very quite as it is in a sidestreet overlooking the court. It looks exactly as on the photos and is a cosy and likeable place.
Communication before arrival was quite short and took long but finally we received the necessary information. Upon arrival Judith was a little distant but easygoing and uncomplicated, her assistant provided us with the directions to find the place which was very helpful. Besides the handover of the key we didn't have any conversation which was fine for us as we prefer to discover a new city by ourselves.
All in all I can recommend a stay at Judith's place
Great place! Hosts are friendly and helpful. A one minute walk to the Seine, one minute to place St-Michel. Quiet and calm. Loved every minute, cannot wait to return. Highly recommend!
The location is excellent, 10 mins walk to Notre-Dame. A quiet, cosy place. Will stay again.
we had a wonderful stay in this lovely apt. It is as represented on the posting. Judith met us upon arrival and brought us to apt.
She was pleasant and there was no need to see her any further.
The apt. is charming. It has most of what we needed. Instead of the juicer it could use a coffee maker. Also could use more towels and toilet paper. We had three towels (one standard bath towels, two little ones); three rolls of toilet paper. This for a ten days stay.
The area could not be more convenient to all the important sites, yet it is quiet.
We would certainly stay there again.
We have enjoyed our stay at your apartment which has such a great location in the heart of St Michel. It is a quiet street away from the noise of the commercial streets St Andre des Arts and the others. So many eat/ drink options, metro is so close and the quai is also. The neighbors in the complex were also nice.
The apartment is clean and comfortable, bathroom is good size with shower being tiled and about 3x4ft. Table and small sitting area make for a great studio apartment. You must take 5 flights of stairs, or 1.5 floors up; no lift. A daily restocking of toilet paper / tissues would be useful, however. We ran out day 3 of 6 nights and bought more ourselves instead of calling Judith who was out of town many days. My wife did meet her and was let in, though I never had the pleasure.
You can’t ask for more in terms of coming home to a quiet place after a busy day/ night of sightseeing. For our first visit together with my wife, it was surely a practical, good cost and romantic little place. A Parisian experience, right?
No problem for me staying here again as a tourist.
The reservation was canceled 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
A very apt description - the flat is on a very quiet side street, but just steps away from the bookstalls on the quais of the left bank, 5 minutes to Notre Dame, the Louvre, or the heart of the quartier Latin.
The pictures portray the space accurately, and though (as many reviewers have noted) the ceilings are very low, I'm 6'4" (~2m) and it didn't bother me. It was very cosy, tastefully decorated, and provided a much more authentic Parisian experience than one could find in a hotel. The building, several centuries old, is a great example of how the French both respect cultural and architectural history, and yet live a very contemporary lifestyle.
Judith and her young assistant were very accommodating and friendly, but allowed me my privacy.
I would absolutely recommend Judith's flat and hope to stay there again.
