I'm finishing up my graduate studies and attempting to take advantage of every possible chance I can to travel. I love travelling because I have a desire to explore new places and meet the peoples which inhabit them. Also, I believe by leaving my own home and coming into contact with new environments and people, I learn about myself and where I'm from.
The tourist industry and 'tourist attractions' don't really interest me much. I really like to visit places so I can experience how the natives live, what they eat and how they think about their home and the world around them. That's why I'm trying out airbnb - perhaps it's a faster way to immerse myself into the place I'm visiting.
My friends might describe me as funny, easygoing and flexible. I appreciate all sorts of music, film and art. Proudly self-identified as a foodie, I can possibly eat all day while discussing in great detail what I'm putting in my mouth. I can talk to anyone about anything and will have a blast doing it.
Five things I can't live without: my friends, airplanes, ice cream, other foodies and observing politics.
Although I don't have a motto, but my strongest inspirations come from LaoZi and Taoism.
