The loft is clean and spacious and the bus is really cozy. There's also a spare room for guests, but I really enjoyed setting up camp in the bus instead. Zac and Holly are very laid back, polite and welcoming. The only thing I can think worth mentioning is that the shower is in the kitchen and not ideal for anyone with physical limitations (but they made sure to mention this before I arrived). With that being said, it was really easy to work around because I just used the shower in the morning before they woke. I had a really nice stay and would highly recommend them as hosts.
As much as the place is cool and makes you smile, it's also full of great ideas to take with you... "inspiring" is a word that comes to mind!! Zac was a great person to meet and we're thankful he took time to hang out with us!!
Zac and Holly were awesome and very accomodating despite us being 45 min late driving from LA. Their van was the most cozy place I've ever stayed at and their loft is an amazing place to hang out. Also, parking was easy and the location was close to the airport.
The posting was very accurate and we had the choice of picking a room to sleep in, in case we were not comfortable sleeping in the totally awesome 70s van (which we did and it was comfy). The accommodations were very clean and cozy and we could not ask for more! Zac and Holly gave us great recommendations of where to go and places to eat. Zac and Holly are very courteous and are fabulous hosts. We would definitely stay with them again in the future!
Zac is an awesome guy. He made me feel completely at home in his apartment. He's got great advice on restaurants, beaches and other stuff to do in the area. I would stay here again.
Zac has a really cool warehouse loft. We slept in a cosy private room and got a delicious breakfast in the old westfalia. The place is close to SNA airport.
Zac and Holly were the nicest hosts. They were welcoming and helpful, even offering us some of their own gear to help make our work in the area go more smoothly. Their space is so unique staying there was one of the highlights of our trip.
Zac and Holly are incredible hosts. If you're looking for one of the most unique Airbnb experiences ever, stay here.
This airbnb is super-unique and fun! Zac and Holly are really chill and nice! The bus itself is gorgeous, and sleeping in the pop-up is comfy and so quiet! Felt like camping. I only had one night there, but wish I couldve stayed!
The warehouse was close to good restaurants, appeared to be in a nice area and also close to the NewPort Beach. The warehouse had been modified to accommodate living quarters. I found the experience enjoyable and would be glad to stay there again.
Zac was great. Punctual, dependable, and clean. No complaints at all.
Zac was an awesome guest to have at my place. Really cool, friendly guy; communication was seamless, and the apartment was spotless when he left.
Zac is a super cool, easy going, laidback person i enjoyed having at my place. Nice to talk to.
Zac and his fiancé were perfect guests! Excellent communication and respectful visitors. We look forward to hosting them both again in the near future.
Zac was a wonderful guest. Great communication & he left my apartment in perfect condition! He is a welcone guest anytime!
It's been a while but I still remember Zac and Holly as one of the most amazing people me and my companion met on our trip through San Diego - L.A. I've only one question for you, Zac...
*COULD YOU LEARN TO LOVE MEH?!*
Zac is a wonderful guy. His warehouse is awesome and the bus is beautiful. I've always wanted one myself, but knowing I can visit his makes the bus-shaped hole in my life hurt less. He knows where all the best tacos are, has a thousand and one stories and is incredibly welcoming and hospitable when it comes to showing people around his neck of the woods, which is a beautiful stretch of coastline just south of LA. I live too far away to spend regular time with him and I'm jealous that you'll get the chance to.
Zac and Holly are incredibly friendly hosts who are willing to go out of their way to ensure that you have an enjoyable time at their unique airbnb. This space is perfect for the creative person looking to be inspired and to enjoy the company of out of box thinkers, lovers of music, art, film and food. Sleeping arrangements are great as you can choose between the privacy of your own room or the old school VW van which is actually really comfortable. Easy access to public transportation with plenty of things to do in the area. Check it out and stay here if you have the chance!!!
- also, if zac offers you food, TRY IT.
This is such a unique location and fun place to stay. The camper is adorable and the warehouse it is camped in is awesome, with a cool bar made out of records with rad art on the walls. I definitely recommend it, not to mention the area its in has some great stuff like the beach and the camp/ the anti-mall. Zac is an amazing host that knows the area and if you are lucky he will make you food.
I've met Zac in L.A. when he gave us a helping hand and let us stay at his cool VW bus – saving us from sleeping in the car.
We've spent few days at his awesome warehouse transforming it into an office. It was fun and I'm looking forward to visit him as soon as I'm in Cali again!
We've been guests of Zac many times before. He is an excellent host who has always gone out of the way to make sure our accommodations were clean and comfortable. The great location combined with stylish furnishings and decor have provided a place for rest and relaxation on our vacations to California.
