I am over 50 and under 60, born in Newcastle in a woodcutter's cottage at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. Like many folks from Northern Ireland, I left home at 17 to seek my fame and fortune in London, Nottingham, Mozambique before returning many years later, no fame or fortune, but two lovely sons and four grand-children who live in London. I live with my second husband in a small two-bedroomed terraced cottage overlooking the harbour. I am now working for Donard Wines, a family run Wine Merchant in the town. I have previously worked as a Montessori Teacher, English Language (TEFL&ESOL&EAL) Teacher, Teacher Trainer and Classroom Assistant. I'm interested in all the usual things good food, good company and good wine, hill-walking, exploring new places and people. I have a keen interest in Yoga, Chi Kung and using foods to heal ourselves. I love theatre, comedy and films but my first love is books!
