Jane’s cottage is fantastic, comfortable and full of clever and funny objects and books. It’s really easy to get around on Perth’s fantastic free transport and close to the train station for longer journeys. The cottage might not suit everyone – it’s an original workers cottage, not a modern glass box apartment – but it suited me down to the ground. I really enjoyed my time here and found Jane a wonderful, thoughtful host.
Jane was lovely, very easy to live with and made my stay a comfortable one. She was also helpful in orientating me to the local free bus service to get into the city when I arrived and had a bundle of maps and tourist information available. Her home is a very comfortable and charming older house which is well located for access to Perth City centre, Leederville and Northbridge which are all within walking distance. There is a free bus which goes to Roe Street bus station / Perth train station and then free city centre busses from near there.
Highly recommended and I would enquire again if I am in Perth. Thank you very much for having me to stay in your home.
Jane´s place is a gem - a house full of artwork and just so inspiring to stay in. Jane has been the most welcoming host I could have wished for. It was very interesting sharing ideas with her and she was very helpful in helping me find my way around and make new contacts. And there is that orange tree in the backyard where you can pick your fresh oranges. Highly recommendable!
From the moment I saw the listing, it looked like a home and fronm the moment I contacted Jane and then actually seeing her house (sorry Home ) thats what it was a Home. I travel to Perth often and am hoping to stay with Jane again because of the experience. Being on Perth on business I am quite self sufficient but Jane still had things for me to do and see in Perth if I needed them. As you would expect Jane gave me some space but was always available for a cuppa and a chat and I looked forward to catching up at the end of a working day.
The location was the next surprise being located close enough to my two favourite "food Locations" Oxford Street,Leederville and Northbridge. It would be a 10 minute walk to both and even 15 into the city. Perfect. And then it is the actual location of the property, it is very quiet being in a dead end street. I am hoping to stay with Jane again and couldn't recommend it higher to someone looking to stay in a home in the perfect location
I love Jane's house, and Jane was a lovely host. The house is central to Perth city but tucked away from the main hustle and bustle it is ideal.
Thanks Jane, you are a wonderful host! I felt very welcome and at home. My room is very comfortable and Jane’s house is full of character and charm! Jane has been very helpful with local transport and attractions in Perth. I was away for Rottnest Island for the weekend after check out and Jane let me to keep my suitcase in her house till I return to Perth!!! That was really kind of her and that allows me to enjoy Rottnest Island to the max!
Jane was a tremendous host, sharing her home with me and helping me out as I explored the city. The house is pretty unique with lots of talking points. It was like living in a funky gallery. Is a short walk to the free transport bus and near Northbridge, which is fun to wander around. Great place and company.
Jane's place was my home away from home for a month. It was close to work, good eating places, transport and shops. My room was big enough and very comfortable. Jane was a welcome company after a hard day at work. It was the best decision to go bnb.
It's always the people that make an experience or a stay enjoyable and Jane was a great host. Her house is lovely, in a perfect location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafes, transport, pool or I should say recreational facility because it offers everything, great for people such as myself who like to take the edge off at the end of the day by swimming laps or taking a class. In the room there was a file full of information, including current attractions; the bed was extremely comfortable and where the house is situated at the end of the street it’s very quiet at night. Jane was welcoming (twice, opening the door near midnight the second time around, for which I will be eternally grateful), is friendly, easy going and accommodating; I felt right at home. I stayed a week and did appreciate after a longish day being able to get back and just relax, cook a meal, share a cup of tea, some conversation, a glass of wine. Would definitely stay again. Thankyou Deb
It was like being at home everything I needed at my finger tips, walking distance to all the shops and restaurant. Could not ask for any more. Jane was so lovely and full of information about Perth its a shame I didn't get to spend more time with her.
Jane is a terrific guest. Lovely to deal with, hassle free and the house was immaculate when she left. I would be very happy to host her again and recommend her to other hosts.
Jane who is a fellow Aussie and also an AirBnB host from my home town where I grew up, came to stay with us in London for 1 week whilst she was on holidays. Jane is down to earth, exteremely nice and considerate. She is actually what every host looks for in a guest, this could be largely due to the fact that she is also a host too :) I really enjoyed sharing a few good stories with Jane when we crossed paths in the evenings. I certainly would have Jane back here in a heart beat!
