We stayed 4 nights at Marianne's place and found it to be great value for money. The apartment is small, clean and cosy, the river view is a bonus. Wifi worked fine and the double bed was comfortable. The beer in the fridge was a nice touch. The apartment is remarkably quiet by NYC standards so we slept very well. The location is very convenient, within easy walking distance to several subway lines. It's easy to transfer from PENN Station by express subway lines 2 or 3 (as long as you can manage luggage 20 to 30 steps on the way in and out). Then again, a couple staying in this apartment may want to travel light.
Although we didn't meet Marianne, she was a lovely virtual host. She set up everything so we could get out and enjoy NY.
Staying at Marianne's place was perfect! The place was ready for me when I arrived a little earlier than expected, and it was clean and tidy. The location was phenomenal, with an easy walk to many of the NYC trains for quick transportation. The layout of the unit was perfect and nicely updated... Even nicer than the pictures make it look.
This is a lovely, small apartment right in the heart of the financial district. I especially enjoyed the juice bar downstairs. Marianne made sure everything was ready for us when we arrived. There isn't room for two people to sit comfortably in the living room and just watch tv, but if you are a single traveler this space is perfect.
A cozy, clean apartment in a splendid location, with very convenient accessibility both to the building and within the building.
The views onto the river were wonderful.
Host was very easy to communicate with to iron out logistics and very responsive to last minute flight changes. WiFi was wonky, but there is a Starbucks at the bottom of the building.
Marianne was a very gracious host and very responsive. Her apartment is very nice with a nice view of the East River. Located in the downtown Manhattan's Financial District. Very close to the South Street Seaport. Conveniently close to many subway lines that can get you to east side or the west side. Also has plenty of taxis. Had a very pleasant experience.
Marianne is a wonderful host. She meets you in person when you check in and makes sure everything is clean and in order. The place is in a nice neighborhood in downtown Manhattan and is very clean and adequate size. When I had questions, Marianne responded almost immediately so I had no problem. A bottle of champagne was a nice touch as well. I would definitely stay at Marianne's again next time I visit NY.
Marianne was a wonderful host! She was very accommodating upon my arrival and had her place ready for my stay. Very comfortable apartment in a nice building. Loved her art work. She is quite talented
Marianne was a great host for my stay in NYC. The apartment was great just like the pictures and has a nice view of the East River. The location is also great and just what I needed. I would definitely recommend staying in Marianne's apartment.
Marianne's apartment near Wall st. is a great place for a couple to stay. On the 17th. floor of a luxury apartment building with a good view and even better views from the roof lounge. Marianne made us feel very welcome, showing us around the building and it felt like staying at home. I definitely recommend staying here to anyone.
Marianne was very welcoming and the apartment was completely spotless when I arrived. It was nice to feel like I was at a home away from home after a long trip. The apartment is quiet, yet close to great NY tourist spots, subways, and restaurants. I will stay here again if it's available!
