Vintage bohemian flower child, author, teacher, speaker, minister! Spiritual music loving doll!
Pamela accepted our stay the day before we arrived in LA. We were so lucky to find somewhere on such short notice, but even more lucky to have had such an awesome stay. The room was clean and cozy. The private entrance was great to have as well. Pamela suggested some things for us to do, and invited us to a cool little book signing/ slideshow about the 60s/70s. We had the best time, and would totally book again! <3
This eccentric room in Venice was the perfect start to our short tour of LA. Pamela was easy to communicate with and very welcoming - our only wish is that we could have stayed for longer! The bohemian vibe surrounding the house is what makes this space unique - although, crucially, not at the expense of comfort or cleanliness. Highly recommended!
A very comfortable stay with a friendly and hospitable host. Close to Venice and Santa Monica, with attractions in easy reach. Highly recommended.
This was our second visit to Pamela's. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Everything was fine. We love the location--close to the airport and Venice beach. We only saw Pamela briefly but everything was communicated efficiently and the room was easy to access. If you go, read her book!
Pamela's house is just as amazing as it seems in the pictures! It feels like being in a place outside of the world. :) Pamela is a great host, very kind, comprehensive (we arrived like 3-4 hours later than expected...) and helpful if you need information and advice. The room has a private access which gives you a lot of freedom and you don't have to worry about bothering other people. I liked very much the patio outside! It is perfect to relax after a hard day at the beach! ;)
Our stay at Pamela's unique bohemian Marina del Rey Pad was absolutely perfect for us. Pamela is very considerate. For example, before we booked she alerted us to the fact that we would be overlapping with her tag sale. The room, although not huge, is enchanting, covered with interesting things she has collected over the years. It is also quite private. Pamela, herself, is a lovely person with a very interesting life story. It wasn't a problem for us. We very much hope to stay with her again when in LA.
Pamela was a great communicator - she wasn't there for my arrival so she explained everything really well via text and email (even answering my annoying questions super quickly via text)! The room is fabulously kitsch, every time I looked at the walls I spotted something new. The bed was very comfy and the adjoining bathroom had everything i needed. The room has its own private entrance down the side of the house, so privacy is assured if that's important to you. A great stay in Marina Del Rey!
We booked this place a bit last minute, and Pamela was happy to have us on a rather short notice. The place is great and full of interesting decorations, clean and we felt very welcome. Location is good and there's good connections to Venice/Marina Del Ray and further in to the city.
We had our own entrance so we could sneak out every night without bothering Pam. Great stay, would do it again :)
Pamela was very friendly and helpful.
Neighborhood was a bit busy and loud but Pamela's house was quiet.
Pamela was a very gracious hostess and made sure my needs were taken care of even though she was not there most of the time. I stayed for two weeks and the room had a coffee maker and a refrigerator, but no way to cook, so she brought me a microwave to use. The room is lovely and has a private entrance around the side of the main house. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable! I want to know where she got those pillows! Needless to say I slept soundly each night I was there. Location is perfect and anything you could possibly need is a stone's throw away. Pamela's roommates were awesome too. Gary, who lives in the main house helped me prepare a retail space I was opening. A memorable and delightful stay with Ms. Pamela, author of the famous best seller "I'm with the Band". A real treat!
