After working in the art world for 25 years, I've had a Bed & Breakfast in East Hampton for the next 25 years; The beaches and the thrift store are the best anywhere.

Located close to and beach. We felt very welcome. Jeanie served us breakfast in the morning! We obtained directions beforehand and could arrive anytime.
Jeanie's North Room is very romantic and cosy. The ideal space for a weekend out of NYC in search for a homey feeling. We will certainly go back in summer time!
I stayed on the top floor of Jeanie's lovely farmhouse with a girlfriend for the weekend. From the moment we entered the house, everything was so wonderfully decorated and unique. Our huge room was at the top of a short set of stairs and was both adorable and immaculate- décor seemed to be Mexican Day of the Dead, lots of pink. The beds (3 total) were super comfortable, shower was hot and strong, and room was nice and warm. Jeanie was very responsive to any issues and served us a wonderful breakfast of coffee, tea, cereal, fruit salad, and toast with butter and jam. Norah, her cat, also joined us for breakfast but didn't go beyond the living room. The location is ideal and is just a short walk into town and from the East Hampton train station. Was just as I hoped for and will definitely be visiting again.
Jeanie was so easy going re our arrival. We would have just settled in if we hadn't met Jeanie on the porch! The farmhouse is stunning, and the rooms are full of an eclectic array of furniture and art work from around the world. Our room was warm and spacious, our bathroom had a stand alone cast iron bath, perfect. May not have suited all, especially vigorous bathers, but great for us. Breakfast was served inside, given the time of our visit, but the farmhouse was set amongst trees on a very spacious lawn, and perfect for breakfast in the fresh air. Jeanie was very easy to get along with, and gave us an insight to what "The Hamptons" are all about. Easy location for exploring. Nora, the cat, seemed to enjoy our company as we did hers!!!
Jeanie was a wonderful hostess! My friend and I stayed in an upstairs room in the back of her farmhouse. The room is spacious enough for two with plenty of towels and sheets/blankets. The bathroom is well-kept and has an awesome shower. (Bonus: heated tiles!) Overall, the room was solid for two people even though we were mostly out. The garden behind the house is GORGEOUS with tons of seating and foliage. Jeanie served us breakfast in the garden both mornings, which was filling and delicious. She was happy to answer questions for us and was very accommodating of our needs. Overall, we were very happy with our trip! Thank you, Jeanie!
We went to the Hamptons with the family for the weekend as my wife was running the Hamptons Half Marathon. We got to the farmhouse at around 7pm and Jeanie was already waiting for us. She was super friendly and right away made us feel at home. We stayed on the top floor private room with bathroom. Taking into account that this place is 200 years old, it was amazing! Very well kept, super clean, and a Mexican theme which we really liked. Every morning of the stay, she has a nice breakfast that we took on her garden. The fruit salad was incredible, as well as the toasted bread. The location is literally walking distance to East Hamptons, plus across the street there's a CVS for any kind of quick shopping. We were also happy to find maps of the area and a zagat guide in the room to help you get around and find good places to eat. We will definitely try to stay with Jeanie on our next trip to the Hamptons and highly recommended for everyone thinking about staying here.
I'm new to Airbnb, so I really didn't know what to expect when booking with Jeannie. We arrived around 9p, and she was very welcoming and showed us to our room and gave us suggestions for where to go for a late night drink.
Although we had a car, she lives only a few blocks from the Main Street of East Hampton. Super convenient location if you're arriving by bus!
The room was clean and quaint; it had an old fashioned feel. Definitely close quarters with the other rooms, but not an issue, as we barely heard other guests moving around.
The highlight of our stay was breakfast in the garden--she makes a mean cup of coffee and homemade toast! She said she's been in this business over 27 years, and you can tell! My boyfriend and I felt completely at ease and would recommend for anyone looking for a retreat from Manhattan!
Great location near the town of East Hampton. Easily walk to the train, many restaurants in close proximity and located on a quiet, tree lined street.
Room was clean and well lit and Jeanie (host) is very friendly and accommodating.
The shower took a little adjusting to; It is a bathtub with a shower head on a hose. A sign on the wall states you can not stand in it as the floor is not waterproof, hence doing so raises the risk of floor collapse.
Was a good experience and recommended to those looking for a no-frills, cost effective space to stay in the Hamptons.
I so enjoyed my visit. Jeanie is a welcoming host, and my room was wonderful. Breakfast in the garden was a delight. I was on somewhat of a retreat and Jeanie and her lovely home contributed to making it very rewarding.
The photo's don't do this accommodation justice. Gorgeous room with plenty of space and a private bathroom. Great location, just a couple minute walk on the same road onto the main shopping/restaurant street in East Hampton. Jeanie is very welcoming and helpful and offered the use of her phone so we could call the ferry company and provided a great breakfast. A great stay and I highly recommend this accommodation.
