Melbourne is a fantastic city to work, live and play in!
It's the kind of place that takes you by surprise... by the time you discover it's secret bars and hidden alleyways you won't want to leave.
Enjoy your stay :)
Of all our stays on our tour of Australia and New Zealand we wanted to stay in Melbourne the longest. Finding a place I could call home for a month wasn't easy. I'm sure there are lots of great places but I wanted somewhere I could call a home and my goodness we certainly found it at Nicole's beautiful flat in Elwood.
Convenient for absolutely everything the area is a wonderful local community yet a tram just up the road takes you to the heart of the city. Nicole provided heaps of really useful advice and information and was available whenever we needed advice or help (like when we were locked out!).
Nicole herself is a wonderful warm, friendly person and generous with her time and her fabulous space. Quirky paintings on the walls, a really well equipped kitchen, plenty of space and a super comfortable bed.
I would happily live there forever and I miss the place already!
My first time using airbnb was great. Nicole was really helpful and made everything really easy. Her apartment was fantastic, bigger and even nicer than the photos make it look. Elwood is a great neighbourhood.
We had a really special time in Nicole's apartment. It is situated in a beautiful area, close to a wonderful beach and even more wonderful coffee shops and food! Nicole was a very gracious host and could not have been more helpful. Ron and I enjoyed our holiday immensely and would love to stay at Nicole's again!
We absolutely loved our stay in Elwood, in Nicole's apartment. The apartment itself is fantastic. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Extremely comfortable queen sized bed, generous sized living/kitchen area and lovely balcony. The suburb of Elwood is in my opinion Melbourne's best located suburb. Close to the city, but just far enough away to have a peaceful, relaxing feel about it. Plenty of trendy shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. But the standout of course is its proximity to the beach. In my opinion, Elwood beach is also much cleaner and nicer than the neighbouring suburbs of Port Melbourne and even St Kilda.
Nicole as a host was also fantastic. She was extremely quick in getting back to us if ever a question arose. During our stay we had a problem with the washing machine and within 24 hours there was someone there to fix it. She went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
I would highly recommend Nicole and her apartment to anyone wishing to spend some time in Melbourne. We had a great 2 months there!
Thanks Nicole for a wonderful stay. My partner's parents felt so at home and loved the place. It was bright, clean and really well equipped. If we have more visitors we would recommend you and the apartment without hesitation. Thanks again.
Nicole is an absolute pleasure! Very happy to have such a great tenant!
