I'm always looking for an adventure and connecting with awesome people. I love the ocean and tropical weather. I'll take a beautiful beach over a stuffy museum any day.
Also, I'm a web designer and developer.

Amanda and Asher were amazing hosts and made the time we spent in Bocas del Toro very special. The house is located on an island, just a few steps from the shore and in the middle of beautiful scenery. The room was clean and the communally shared space was daily taken care of. Especially the combined kitchen and living room, the heart of the house, were well equipped, so cooking and hanging out were really fun. We also loved to have the three dogs around. To sum up it felt like a shared flat with friends, who know a lot about the region and are very willing share their knowledge, equipment (like a sea kayak) and time. We will definitely miss all five of you! Thank you so much!
Asher and Amanda manage to simultaneously be really relaxed, fun people to hang out with and incredibly professional airbnb hosts. They were also extremely accommodating with transportation assistance throughout our time in Bocas Del Toro. Their house and the location were wonderful and unique, the ability to use the kitchen and their water sport equipment were added bonuses, and we enjoyed meeting other airbnb'ers staying at the house.
We really enjoyed staying with Asher and Amanda. They are a technically savvy younger couple, smart, comfortable, welcoming and easy going. They were helpful and accommodating and supported our activities in the Bocas Area. There house roomy and feels like a lodge.
If you are clean freak this place is probably not for you. Amanda keeps it plenty clean, but the dogs and mud on the property make spic and span rather impossible.
I hope to see these two wonderful people again.
Asher and Amanda are great people, very welcoming and always willing to help. We feel like we've made 2 new friends and look forward to meeting up with them again sometime soon. We had a great time staying with them and they referred us to and reserved space for an awesome ATV adventure that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Asher and Amanda also offer boat transportation to and from Isla Colón (Bocas Town) at a very affordable rate that is far less than the other boat taxis so I would highly recommend riding with them. Asher is a skilled boat captain and they both go out of their way to make it as convenient as possible. The location of their house (San Cristobal) is a little more remote but very much ideal for some peace and quiet along with relaxation and enjoying the water and the views. They have really nice kayaks and snorkeling gear that they are always willing to let you use. The boat ride to town is only around 15 minutes so it's quite convenient. The house is off grid and runs on a very large and impressive solar power system which for us was part of the reason we stayed with them
We loved our unique stay with Amanda and Asher. We stayed in their house on San Cristobal for a week in one of their double bedrooms. Our room was clean and prepared for our arrival. There are a total of 3 guest bedrooms which are sometimes all occupied by other guests, which is nice. There is plenty of space, bathrooms and cooking facilities for everyone!
This is a real home and a great Airbnb experience.
Their house is around a 10 minute boat ride from Bocas town so this place is ideal for someone looking to experience what it's actually like living on a Panamanian island. We had no problem getting into Bocas Town daily and if Amanda and Asher couldn't take us in their boat, they would organise another captain to pick us up. Basically it's not hard getting around but it takes a little organising.
There is good internet, so you won't be completely cut off despite being 'off-grid'.
The house is run sustainably on solar power, there was always plenty of power for washer, dryer etc. when we were there. All trash is sorted and recycled, and rainwater is harvested for showering, and even available filtered for drinking.
Amanda and Asher were lovely hosts and we felt like friends by the time we left. They answered all our questions before booking and during our stay helped us out with any issues we had. They cooked us amazing food and organised great tours to the local beaches for us. On departure they took us to town in their boat very early in the morning for our bus transfer. During our stay we felt extremely well taken care of. There are two brand new kayaks and a stand up paddle board free to use, also plenty of day trip activities a short boat ride away on picture perfect Caribbean islands.
This rustic Panamanian island experience might not be for everyone, but we absolutely loved our taste of expat life in a Latin American mangrove forest.
All in all we had an amazing unforgettable experience that wouldn't have been the same without Amanda, Asher and their 3 dogs.
Amanda and Asher were really good hosts, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, they also arranged trips for us, and drove us out with their boat. Room was clean, kitchen with everything you need for cooking. A good spot if you wanna take daytrips to surrounding beaches. Note that this is just ten minutes with boat from Bocas Town, but when you are at the house there is no possibility to get around the island by foot. There are a lot of bugs so sitting on the porch after sunset was not an option for us. Recommended if you're on a budget and want to stay away from town and want to spend your days out exploring. Wifi was excellent , free drinking water and showers were warm and good pressure. The hosts were very flexible and generous to us!
This is an amazing house, in a quiet insolent. Amanda and asher are great, despite my difficulties in English I felt like home. The house we are fully accessible. On the possibility of canoe kayak or paddle.
Je recommande a tous les français cette guesthouse!
Asher and Amanda were amazing hosts, they were so friendly, fun to hang out with and super helpful whenever we had any questions. They are very welcoming and generous with both their space and time. They invited us to use their kitchen freely and even packed us lunch one day when we ran out of food. They organized fun stuff for us to all do together and were happy to hang with us. With their help we got a glimpse of Panama we wouldn't have had otherwise. If you want to meet two great people you would be more than lucky to stay with these two in their beautiful home.
Amanda and Asher are very welcoming and sharing hosts. Theire place is beautiful. They let us use theire water equipement (kayaks, stand up paddle board, ...). The kitchen was fully equipped, which is great, because shops and restaurants are a boatride away. We went all together to isla zapatillas, what was really great. Thanks for a great time!!! Lena + Marcel
Very nice modern home, reasonable distance to the town (just $3 for a shared ride). Asher and Amanda were very kind and responsive, told me about local spots, offered their sport equipment and even cooked a nice diner! My experience from Bocas del Toro was very good:)
Easy guests to host. A very brief but pleasant visit. Kind. Respectful. Calm. Nice. Welcome back anytime
Asher and his co-guests were very nice, with excellent communication and left the apartment in great shape. I'd be happy to host them again! Thank you Asher!
