A complete renovation of a 120-year-old traditional house. In pursuit of comfort, the old beams and the scent of new Kunikuzu cedar wood create a clean and calm space. -About "yori-toko"- Built in 1894, this building was 118 years old as of 2019. The building, which has been around for nearly 120 years, has been a vacant house for nearly 40 years. Once loved by neighborhood children who came to study and play, this building was renovated. Returning to its original form, it was reborn as "Fukuchi no Yado Kafu yori-toko". The name "yori-toko" is based on the owner's desire for this place to continue to be a warm place where people can gather, just as it was once a popular "place to gather". With foundation work and insulation, it has become a comfortable home for the current climate.

This is an apartment located in Ube city. Inside the room, you'll find a sauna house that you can use along with your stay. Enjoy leisurely time with your family or friends. :) There are a hair dryer and washing machine, but due to the low cost of accommodation, no amenities. Two towels are provided per 1person per 1day. *Please note that there is an additional fee for sauna usage (3,000JPY/2hours). We also have rental cycles (500JPY/1day/1person). There is a dining room on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor, separated by a staircase. Meals are home-cooked, with a focus on vegetables grown by the host, without fertilizers or pesticides. Meat or fish are also served, but vegetarian meals are also available upon request. You can also enjoy the free-range chicken eggs on the premises and our special homemade miso.
