This place looks straight out of early 20th-century Paris. So homey and unassuming, an oasis of fine cocktails and unpretentiousness in Old City. This is really the place to go for a good cocktail.

There's usually a small cover, with several different rooms and styles of music to choose from. It's one of the main dance clubs in Philly and a good place to go if you like dancing, people-watching, and late night partying.

Great coffee and excellent tea selection from a local tea importer, Republic of Tea. Snacks are yummy but overpriced. They have fresh juices & smoothies too if that's your thing! Cash only.

Perfect for a reasonably-priced, yummy, and very friendly breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I love this place! Not a lot of people seem to know about it yet. It's eclectic - a touch diner, hipster, cafe, market all wrapped into one. A beautiful spot in that it's friendly and a diverse meeting place. Try the Panko-fried chicken & waffle!!!

Find this place by the bright blue exterior. Inside, it looks like an unassuming bottle shop and gross dive bar. You would never expect that their kitchen serves up delicious and reasonably-priced Indian fusion dishes! Try the pear salad, it's incredible. Also the chicken kabob is a fantastic deal at $5. They have great happy hour specials on weeknights and the bottle shop is very reasonably priced. The atmosphere isn't great, but the prices are well worth it and the bartenders are really friendly and kind. This place is a well-hidden gem!

This place serves good locally-roasted coffee at good prices, and is conveniently located on Broad St. a 10-minute walk from my house. They also serve tasty sandwiches, act as a pickup location for a CSA and co-op, and play movies.

This park is highly under-utilized. It's so close to South Philly (18 minutes from my house!) and peaceful despite its proximity to the city. This is a beautiful place to watch birds and walk around a freshwater tidal marsh & forest.
