Food Scene

Petsi Pies is one of the favorite bakeries/ coffee shops in the area. It serves delicious sandwiches and makes for a great place to sit and do work. It can be a little crowded - go early!

Alive and Kicking is on a small street in Cambridge, but you'll think you're on the dock of a seaside village. It serves the best lobster sandwich in Boston (My opinion!). Unlike those $17 lobster rolls you'll get at Quincy market, here you'll get a whole sandwich, with the lobster lightly dressed, plus chips, for I think $15? Order at the counter and sit outside on their picnic tables. A true Cambridge secret spot!

Drinks & Nightlife

Brick and Mortar doesn't have a sign - so listen carefully if you want to find it. Look for the Dosa shop on Mass Ave. Next to it is the restaurant Central Kitchen. Between the two is a door that leads up stairs. There might be a bouncer, which will help identify it - otherwise, just open the door and try it! Brick and Mortar has excellent, interesting cocktails that change all the time and delicious, decadent appetizer-sized plates. It can get crowded - score a spot at the tables in the front or back.
