The best location of the Pok-Pok line-up! This lil hole in the wall has a limited menu but it is the best menu items from the bigger (more crowded spot) in SE. Get the shrimp chips while you wait for your food and grab a bev too - they are tasty.

THE BEST central american/mexican style food. their season menu items are always outstanding but our favorite is the Burrito del Mar - its smothered in a white wine cream sauce. They have an amazing outdoor patio with tons of seating and landscaping. Plus - they do brunch on the weekends and most Portlanders do not know about so the wait is not crazy.

A mix of Portlanders. Not pretentious and you can start up a conversation with almost anyone. Poll table, jukebox, various seating nooks and 2 fireplaces! Not quite a divebar but has the relaxed vibe of one.
