Farmer's market is famous... i hear there is a shade-covered kids playground too. Near Barnes & Nobel and Petco on north (kitty cats!) and shopping/movies on south.

walking anywhere on the Hudson River Park Promenade is fun all the way down to Battery Park - but here in Chesea the Piers from 18th to 23rd are fun to walk around and see the yachts and dinner cruisers, putters on the golfing pier, the bowling alley or the skate rink and north pier views/carousel.

Great place to watch the ships pass, and see the private yachts that dock here as well... Catch the Spirit line or Bateaux dinner cruises. There is a park/merry go round on the north pier and maybe fast food... South pier has golf driving range and bowling alley. Wish they'd bring back the Brewery!
