Shopping

If you're looking for local shopping you can start by a coffee at Intelligencia and crossing the street to visit the Mohawk General Store. It's a curated shop with everything from selected clothing, sunglasses to lighting. They have a specific taste for objects and might be a bit pricey but it's a good place to start if you're looking for something to buy from a local shop or want to spend the afternoon window shopping. From there you can head east on Sunset and check out the rest of the hipster shops that often sell work on consignment from artists working in print, textile, fashion, ceramics...etc.
