A close place for traditional breakfast food at a very reasonable price. In Nashville, we call places like this a greasy spoon...nothing fancy...just good food served with a smile.

Traveler advice

Getting around

Nashville's transit system is buses. "We Go"

Riding the bus is an easy and cheap way to get downtown. You can pay cash on-board (change is returned in the form of fare card for future purchases, so use exact change when possible) or in advance by credit card by downloading the Quick Ticket phone app. The closest bus stop to our house is on 19th St between Lilian and Boscobel by the park crosswalk. Returning buses start at the WeGo Central depot (Charlotte & 4th Ave) and pass by the bus stop on Union at 2nd Ave (at Grumpy's Bail Bonds; flag the bus down.)
