Excellent fish for lunch. They open again in the beginning of June, after total renovation. For sunny days, we really recommend this place, nice patio and view over the harbour. Open for lunch

Museum of the legacy of Icelandic fisheries. Museums are a part of dying tradition, but still a great way to get insight in to the culture of a nation.

Nothing has been more vital to Iceland’s survival than fishing, so it should be no surprise that there's an entire Iceland history museum dedicated to the nation’s maritime past. You can check out the country’s seafaring heritage at the Reykjavik Maritime Museum in the newly renovated part of Reykjavik's harbor, known as the Grandi area. 10 min drive
