Irish Agricultural Museum resides here. The castle is soon to be opened to the public (??). The grounds are stunning. Huge lake, wildlife, trees, walks and peacocks.
Enjoy the beautiful mature gardens, lake side walks, see the Peacocks, sample home cooking in the Restaurant. Visit the Agricultural Museum and craft shop
It's a magnificent castle with spectacular ornamental grounds and gardens where you'll also find the Irish Agricultural Museum. Check out ‘The Great Famine’ through an exhibition which vividly reveals what life was like before, during and after the famine in Ireland in the mid 19th century.
Lovely big house/castle in the surroundings of a large beautiful garden. On Saturdays there is a free Parkrun which everyone can join in.
