Tips from locals
Great spot for dinner or a cocktail. Servers are professional and the food is great. Try the cheese fondue. The black bean burger is great too and when they have German food on the ever-changing menu it is always terrific.
Later night food and full bar. In the underworks of the famous mimslyn inn. You can take your drinks to the inn upstairs and chill by the fireplaces. Very cool. Good solid american food.
Locals and tourists alike come here for good food, spirits, and music. It is underneath the Mimslyn Inn (at the top of the hill). Even our seven and fourteen year old children had a great time!
I love their Art-Deco interior, great bar, live music, and good food. Definitely worth the trip.
Speakeasy has live music usually on Thursday and Saturday nights

“Locally grown hops makes for nice locally crafts beer. They have great homemade root beer, too. Often they have a food truck or catering onsite for a casual bite to eat. This place gets busy ... it’s popular ‘cause the beer is good. ”

“Adorable winery/farm ... Sue and her hubby run a sweet spot and make some nice wines. Try a tasting and pick a fav then sit by the fire pit or walk through the vines to the cool creek along the back. They often have live music, too. ”

“This place is an amazing spot for breakfast or lunch. Fresh food at reasonable prices and amazing baked goods and desserts. Especially the pies and cakes. One of the only places in town to get a decent coffee. It gets BUSY, so go early or off peak hours. They have cheap bagel sandwiches all day and local craft beer on tap. ”

“Relaxed fine dining. Closes early and has limited seating so call and make a reservation or get there early. Especially beautiful views from the porch looking across the valley at sunset. ”
