Tips from locals
Local restaurant with a good quality food. On weekdays they have meal off the day and kids eat for free between 5-6pm. Also a good place for a glas of wine.
You share a large table with other guest, and get a chance to meet new friends.
Cozy restaurant/vine/cafe on Frederiksberg Allé. Calm and quiet through the day. More lively at night. Dish of the day from 18.00. Very local, friendly pricing, good with children, free wifi.
One of our favorites for a rainy Tuesday - remember to order and pay in the bar when you arrive :-)

“Not actually a breakfast place, unless chocolate truffles and ice cream are your breakfast go-to’s, this chocolatery and ice cream parlor offers the best homemade ice cream in Denmark – no joke, first day of summer the line can be almost 1 km long. Make sure to get the chocolate dipped cone and remember that you can get tasters of the ice cream before choosing. The place is just across the street, so no excuse not to go.”
