Tips from locals
Incredible rustic bakery and food spot, daily fish, salads, roast chickens... everything on the menu is phenomenal!
Another fantastic food scene! Be prepared to wait, but worth it! STRONG coffee.. artisan baked goods and breakfast options. Really simple but delicious meals... open for dinner as well... but outdoor seating only! Their breakfast bialy sandwiches are my favorite!
Artisanal bakery in a sprawling, warehouselike space offers up special breads baked on-site.
It's sceney af and certainly a place to see and be seen - plus the food is unbelievably good. You stand in line to order, and frankly, the line is absolute chaos. However, once you get your food you'll be so happy to eat it. It's delicious. Fresh breads and smoked fish are the things to order.
Have brunch at Gjusta, an artisanal bakery in a sprawling, warehouse-like space offers up special breads baked on-site.
This is our favorite breakfast and brunch spot in Venice. Gjusta offers baked goods, breakfast bowls, deli sandwiches (with house cured gravlax), amazing salads and veggies and pizza. It looks very basic from the outside, but inside it's got a very industrial trendy vibe with lots of trendy…

“Great coffee. Period. From them: Our space is a modest and immaculate 650-square-feet, with a Kees van der Westen Spirit espresso machine, our customary drip coffee bar, and a comforting abundance of iced coffee. A James Turrel–inspired LED installation by Techno Maki lends a warm, vibrant pulse—which changes ever-so-slightly with the Southern California seasons—to the kiosk’s clean angularity. And our crew, like the weather, is unflinchingly sunny.”
