“The New Fort of Corfu (Venetian: Fortezza Nuova) is a Venetian construction on the hill of St. Mark in the city of Corfu, built in stages. the lower three-storey structure called "Punta Perpetua" and the five-sided bastion at the top. [13] Inside the bastion there is a large number of curved chambers, ventilation wells, stairs, ramps and two baroque-style gates.
