A bit of a drive but in winter it's a magical place with skating on the lake and ice sculptures to amaze with an iconic backdrop. Window shop in the hallways and check out the multiple dining venues throughout. Tends not to be as busy in the winter, although expect a lot of visitors still.

A beautiful scenic area where you can spend the afternoon. Rent a canoe or hike to the tea house in the summer. Walk along the lake or book a dog sled tour in the winter. Parking can be crazy in the summer, especially during long weekends so it’s a good idea to go early or during the week.

Lakeside dining at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is nice for a special occasion. High tea or fine dining, both offer the most spectactular views in the Rockies.
