Another favorite beach for walking, swimming, para sailing, kayaking and paddle boards. Has access to a sand bar at low tide. Can walk to Old Orchard Beach and beyond. Connects to 7 miles of beach. Pet friendly.

It's a beautiful beach that you can enjoy all day for the price of parking. They have concessions and that beautiful ocean!

“This is where you go to get the pre-cooked lobsters and steamers (which are clams steamed in their shells). This is also owned by the local foodie celebrity couple. Also walkable, but a bike may be better.”

Trail
“Walk or ride your bike along the trail. To get to the trail head, go to the end of the driveway, turn left and walk up North Street a short distance. Cross North Street over to Nott Street and you are now on the Eastern Trail. Follow the Eastern Trail signs to the wooded trail behind historic Thornton Academy. After approximately 1 mile, the trail will hit Main Street. Follow the trail signs under the 195 bridge and you will arrive at a long wooded section of the trail that will take you to Old Orchard Beach, Scarborough, and even Portland if you have the endurance. ”
