This place is a huge attraction in the area. Give it several hours to a whole day. Pack a lunch or check to see if the restaurant and gift shop is open. Check seasons, costs and requirements ahead of time.

“We love Ken & Sue's in downtown Durango for a special dinner to celebrate or just connect with friends and family. Excellent food, great prices and you can even sit in the heated outdoor tents during a snowy night. I especially love the outdoor patio during warm summer evenings. ”

“This is BY FAR the best breakfast in southwest Colorado! Owned by old hippies, this is a gathering place for hippies, hipsters, ranchers, and cowboys. Located in the old bank building from the late 1800s, make sure to look up! The ceiling tiles are the original hand-hammered copper!”
