Performances take place here many days a week, of music all around the world (despite the name, the Cairo Opera House doesn't only perform Opera!). Tickets are very affordable - seats go for usually around 100 - 150 EGP, or about 7 USD / 5.50 EUR.

The entrance fee is very cheap - enjoy a ballet, opera or classical concert for a modest price. There are almost always tickets available. For the main hall: no jeans, no sneackers, tie (men).
