Dartmoor National Park is one of the last great wildernesses in the uk with an inspirational landscape of the heather clad moors and rugged tors. Great place to visit and enjoy the the views whilst exploring the Park. Full day out to enjoy the beauty.
Just a stunning national park. Half an hours drive. Great walks. Some lovely pubs and villages.
Dartmoor is about 45 minutes away. The prison is there, which you can look around, but the moors are great for the walkers amongst you. Note:- Please be mindful of the weather as conditions can change rapidly.
With 365 square miles of beautiful countryside, expansive views you can spend your whole hoilday on Dartmoor. Explore the history, seek out the standing stones, stone age hut circles or just explore the many "Tors" (rock formations)
This national park is a must see for any visitor. Be careful if out there walking as the weather can change very quickly!
