Tips from locals
Indeed this epic and well-known place if an ex-libris of the area. Its short cab or Uber ride away. The restaurant is typical Portuguese food restaurant, upscale, with top and old fashion school service. Quality stuff. Dress up nicely and enjoy a dinner there. Price 50-80 Euros depending on choice…
"Tucked above the marginal in Monte Estoril, this replica of an Elizabethan cottage draws a clientele of aristocratic locals who come for the authentic Portuguese food."

BBQ Joint
“A simple menu of BBQ grilled chicken, (either spicy or not spicy) and fries. If anybody has been to Nandos piri piri restaurants, these guys were the inventors of the concept. Around Portugal, you will see many piri-piri chicken, (or frango) restaurants. Somos is by far one of the best. Using small 'Guia' chickens from Algarve which stays succulent and juicy. Did we also mention it's cheap as chips!! Located in the Historical Centre of Cascais, it is a very good local crowd. It can get busy so try to book.”
